Tryazon Crayola Crafting Party

My kids love to do crafts, so they were excited to invite their friends over for the crafting party! Unfortunately, not everyone was able to make it, but we had a good time with those who came. We had colorful snacks, too!

I covered the table in paper and put all the craft supplies out. The kids began with painting their canvases, and then added glitter glue and started making other artwork with the construction paper. Cecily said it was the Best Day Ever!

Here's what we thought of the products:

These are a good size for kids to use, and held the paint well. I don't know if the washable fingerpaint was the best to use on them, though... it seemed too thin and really showed the brushstrokes.
These were not the best. They were very soft, so it was difficult to get any sort of definition. When using washable fingerpaints, they really showed the brushstrokes on the canvas. And they shed little hairs which were difficult to remove from the canvas. I will not be purchasing this brand again.
These were very bright and the kids loved the colors. The paint is very lightweight, though, so you need to do multiple coats, especially if you are painting on canvas, for the color to show up well.
This is my go-to paint for the kids. Colors are bright and true-to-life and it washes easily. Works well on canvas and paper.
These were a disappointment. They are small, so you only get a few squeezes before they are used up and make a splatty mess on your project. They take FOREVER to dry... after several hours we held our pictures up for a picture and were sad to see the glitter ran all over the place. Will not be purchasing again.
These are the best crayons, and the only brand I will buy!
These are our favorite brand of markers. Work well, last a long time, and are easy to wash off fingers (and faces!)
These are ok. Not the best kids scissors I've used. Not as ergonomic as other styles, but work fine.
This is good construction paper, and I like the variety in color. I will be purchasing again. My kids go through a LOT of construction paper for their school and art projects.
