Tryazon Spin Master RC Play Time Party

We had the perfect day for a socially-distant Tryazon party! After more than a week of rain, we had a chilly but sunny day (followed by snow the next day!) We met our friends at a park and it worked out well because 3 of the kids had birthdays recently (or coming up) so we had cupcakes, sang Happy Birthday, and enjoyed other Halloween treats and hot chocolate.

The park has a little creek that runs through it which was the perfect place to try out the new Megalodon Storm Shark RC car. It was so much fun! The kids loved driving it across the stream, over the rocks, through the fallen leaves, and even up and down the slides and bridges on the nearby playground. Overall it was a hit!

We did a prize drawing to give away the Ninja Bots and Stunt Shot. We passed them around so everyone could see the packaging (and feel the super soft wheels) and talked about seeing them at our local Walmart. (I also sent the link to purchase all the items online).

Tryazon Razor Block Party

This scooter came at a great time-- my daughter had just had a birthday and this was like a belated gift for her. But her brother loves it even more than she does, and asked for a green one for HIS birthday, which is coming up in a month.

Review:

This is a fun scooter, and my kids love it. I am not sure if the motor is necessary... seems that they would enjoy it just as well if it wasn't charged and they could just ride it like a regular kick scooter. I also wish the brake wasn't plastic- it seems like it will break easily (pun not intended) The little plastic piece that plugs in the charger is always falling open, which annoys the kids. And finally, the lights aren't very bright... we rode it once at dusk/twilight and they kids loved the lights, but we usually ride during the day and you can hardly see the lights at all. Overall, though, this is a fun scooter and my kids are having a great time with it.

For our party, we met outside and had pizza and coffee and let the kids play on their scooters, scooter boards, and bikes. Some kids from the neighborhood also joined in, so it really became a true block party!

Tryazon Telestrations Upside Drawn Game Party

We did our game "night" as a beach party! This game had us laughing out loud! The kids liked just using the boards and pens to draw pictures. This game is perfect for all drawing abilities, since the person drawing the picture doesn't know what they are drawing!

Tryazon Deflecto Eliminate the Clutter Park Party

Tryazon sent some Deflecto Products, perfect for organizing back to school items! Here's what my friends and I think of the products:

Deflecto Caddy Organizer, Stackable with Three Compartments

These will be nice for the kids to keep their school supplies in! I like how they can all clip together to be very portable, since we do crafts and schoolwork in different rooms in the house. The price point is a little too high, though.

Deflecto Stack 'N Go Caddy Wheel Base

It is nice that you only need 1, and you can stack as many of the caddies on top as you want. My kids are currently using it as a "stuffy school bus" though! But again, the $20 price tag, plus the $20 per caddy, makes this system a little too costly.

Deflecto Lit Loc Mounting Bar

This is handy, so that the caddy compartments are even more versatile. We mounted one to my daughter's desk so that she can keep her school supplies at hand without losing deskspace.

Deflecto Expandable Marker Accordion, Stores up to 80 Markers

One of my friends thought about using this for lipstick, but the compartments are too deep, and don't have a second level to make them more shallow. It is cool how it expands out, to put your writing supplies easily at hand.

Deflecto Rotating Carousel Craft Storage Organizer, 9-Canister

Unfortunately these compartments are large enough for pens, but not for pencils, so it is not as useful as it could be, for school supplies. The lazy susan feature is a nice touch.
For our party, we used the caddy organizer to carry snacks to the park for a picnic playdate!

Tryazon Chocolat Frey Tasting Party

Chocolat Frey Tasting Party with Tryazon... Social Distance Edition!

This was supposed to be a Easter party... then came the Covid...

I did put a few bars in my kids Easter baskets, so we got to try our chocolate early. I really liked it! Not my absolute favorite brand, and it is a little harder to find (so far only sold in stores I don't frequently visit) but I enjoyed the smooth taste and interesting flavors, and I liked hearing the story of their sustainable practices.

For our party, we decided to do it outdoors at a park so everyone could follow social distancing practices. The kids played on the playground (No hugging!) while the adults stayed 6 ft apart and talked (No group photos!) and each family got their own chocolate bags and bars (No sharing!). It was a little different, but it was still a lot of fun. Everyone who gave feedback on the chocolate said it was really good... especially the dark chocolate!

At one point a fast-moving storm blew in and we all took shelter as best we could, but it was over in less than 10 minutes and the sun came back out.

Tryazon Cooking With Cucina and Taste Republic Tryabox

Taste Republic Fresh Gluten-Free Fusilli Review

I do not follow a GF diet but I was asked to try this product for free from Tryazon. It was not easy to find in the store- I didn't realize I needed to look for it in the refrigerated section. The packaging was difficult to open. But once it was cooked, I couldn't tell a difference between this and any other type of pasta. So if someone in my family was put on a GF diet, I would definitely look for this in the future!  #Tryazon #CookingWithCucina #CuinaAntica #Whole30 #TasteRepublic #glutenfree #freshpasta #wholefoods

Cucina Antica pasta sauce

This sauce was good. Not great, but not bad. It is more expensive than my current store brands of jarred pasta sauce, so I don't think I will buy it in the future. I am not too concerned about the health benefits and I DO like the taste of garlic, so the two things that set this sauce apart are not important to me.

Tryazon Cozy Outdoors Party Bestway

I applied to host a Cozy Outdoors Party with Tryazon and Bestway. But it is Wisconsin, and it is NOT cozy outdoors right now! (was 11 degrees this morning)

So we did an "indoor campout" movie night with smores, popcorn, and pizza.

First we ate pizza. Then we made smores over a small fire. Then we inflated the airbed, and I shared the links to review or purchase the Bestway air mattresses. Then we let the kids cozy up on the bed under blankets and watch a movie. They were more interested in jumping on the bed!

After everyone went home, my kids wanted to do a living room sleepover, so we left the air mattress inflated for one night. We will be taking it camping this summer, and possibly use it when we visit friends or family. We like to have a backup bed for guests in our home, too.

Here is my review of the product:

This airbed is everything you need and nothing more. It has a built in pump, which is nice, and the fact that it is plug-in is nice in the sense that you don't have to worry about batteries running out, but it also means you need to have access to electricity, so it won't always work for tent camping. The bag it comes with is flimsy and doesn't really fit the airbed in it well (it sticks out the top unless you get it really scrunched down) I wish the bag was a cinch-style bag like other airbeds I've owned. Overall, it's comfortable, doesn't lose air overnight, and will be good for us when we go camping or have guests over.

Tryazon Crayola Crafting Party

My kids love to do crafts, so they were excited to invite their friends over for the crafting party! Unfortunately, not everyone was able to make it, but we had a good time with those who came. We had colorful snacks, too!

I covered the table in paper and put all the craft supplies out. The kids began with painting their canvases, and then added glitter glue and started making other artwork with the construction paper. Cecily said it was the Best Day Ever!

Here's what we thought of the products:

These are a good size for kids to use, and held the paint well. I don't know if the washable fingerpaint was the best to use on them, though... it seemed too thin and really showed the brushstrokes.
These were not the best. They were very soft, so it was difficult to get any sort of definition. When using washable fingerpaints, they really showed the brushstrokes on the canvas. And they shed little hairs which were difficult to remove from the canvas. I will not be purchasing this brand again.
These were very bright and the kids loved the colors. The paint is very lightweight, though, so you need to do multiple coats, especially if you are painting on canvas, for the color to show up well.
This is my go-to paint for the kids. Colors are bright and true-to-life and it washes easily. Works well on canvas and paper.
These were a disappointment. They are small, so you only get a few squeezes before they are used up and make a splatty mess on your project. They take FOREVER to dry... after several hours we held our pictures up for a picture and were sad to see the glitter ran all over the place. Will not be purchasing again.
These are the best crayons, and the only brand I will buy!
These are our favorite brand of markers. Work well, last a long time, and are easy to wash off fingers (and faces!)
These are ok. Not the best kids scissors I've used. Not as ergonomic as other styles, but work fine.
This is good construction paper, and I like the variety in color. I will be purchasing again. My kids go through a LOT of construction paper for their school and art projects.
