Tryazon I'm a Little Crabby Game Night

We had some friends over to try I'm a Little Crabby and Throw Throw Avocado. We also shared this with some people who were not pictured, at a different date.

Our thoughts on I'm a Little Crabby... This game has a unique concept. We did not enjoy it as much as other Exploding Kittens game (mantis is our favorite) but it is simple to learn and easy to play, and as always, the artwork is funny and cute. We were glad to get to try it out.

Our thoughts on Throw Throw Avocado.... This game is cute and high quality. If you have little little kids, I do wonder how long the avocados will last before someone takes a bite out of one! We were a little confused about where the best place is to play it... We settled on the floor, but if you had a group with older people, you would probably want to play at a table. The game play involves both passing cards (best at a table) and throwing avocados (best in an open space) Maybe other people have a lot of open space AROUND their table, but we don't, so I don't see us playing this too often, unless we play it at church, or somewhere else with a bit more space. The video to explain it was cute, and it was fun that Angela kinsey explained it! I think kids and teens would enjoy this more than adults.

Tryazon Pixicade Pets Party

For months, my kids and I have been excited to try out the new Pixicade Pets app and kit. They love the original Pixicade!

The wide range of colors and fun learn-to-draw book are so helpful, but the real value is in the app itself. While it is a free app, the kit gives you codes to unlock the creative component of the game, to draw your own virtual pets! There are so many layers to the game (feeding, playing with your pets, traveling to your friend's worlds, etc) so the kids will play for a lot longer than I expected.

We really appreciate how hands-on the creators of Pixicade are. Martin hosted a Facebook Live video training, to show us how to play the game and introduce it to our friends.

We did have an issue with the app- it didn't work well on my phone at first, and the camera was upside down when we tried to play it on the kids' kindles. The kindle issue is still being worked on, but the Pixicade developers have been very helpful through customer support to address this problem with us. The app is working well on my phone, since the recent update.

For the Tryazon party, we showed off the game to our homeschool group. Some of them were familiar with the original Pixicade game from our last Tryazon-Pixicade party. We gave out the coupon codes and they were thankful for that! Hope to see a lot of the kids' friends joining us in this game!

Tryazon Telestrations and Blank Slate Party

This was the biggest and one of the most fun game nights we've had in a while! We played Telestrations (an old favorite) and Blank Slate (a new favorite!) It was fun to include the kids this time, as they are all getting old enough to read and write and draw well enough to play. Blank Slate is SO easy to play- it is very self-explanatory, so you don't need to waste any time reading directions, watching a video, or learning to play- you can jump right in. The word prompts are very helpful (that's basically what you are "paying for" by buying the game- otherwise you could just use pen and paper and play the game without the box) But the words they chose have so many possibilities that are easy to think of, so it is fun to play together and see which minds think alike...!

Tryazon Hand to Had Wombat Game Night

We will be playing this game again with our friends next week! It is fun, easy to learn, and good for kids and adults  (as long as you put the box where the shorter arms can reach!). You really have to "learn by doing"... the second round you really have a better idea what to expect and how to play.

Tryazon Mantis Card Game

We weren't able to get a large game night going this time but we will definitely be playing this game with more of our friends in the future! It is fun, easy to learn, and quick to play, and kids can enjoy it as much as, and alongside, adults. It even comes with a fun comic book!

Tryazon LesserEvil Back-to-School Snack Party

Our first attempt at a party got rained out, but I shared some puffs with 3 families, then took the rest to Pennsylvania to share with some of my extended family at our beach party.

The adults and some of the older kids were not too impressed with the taste, but the younger ones seemed to like them. I think these would be good for toddlers (the youngest of our crew who tried them was 4)

Tryazon Zolli Party with My Wish 4 U

We went to a park to have a playdate and try out the Zolli candies and My Wish 4 U lunch box notes! Back to school season is coming up, and it is fun to have some "good for you" lollipops and taffy on hand for after meal treats, as well as notes in the kids' lunches to brighten their day!

Even my friend who doesn't normally like taffy liked the taffy because it "wasn't too chewy".

The only feedback about the lunchbox notes is that the font might be a bit hard to read for early or struggling readers, since the letters are skinny, uneven sizes, and close together.

We met some new friends at the park and they especially loved that the candy was keto and gluten free.

Tryabox Gabby's Dollhouse

We got to try this product from Tryazon. My opinions are my own. My girls love it! They love the show, and the app, and now play with the dollhouse every day. I do think it's rather cheap, with cardboard pieces that easily fall out (we ended up taping them the first day) but it's about on par with other plastic dollhouses we've seen at friends' houses. I like the idea of collecting different rooms to attach to it and they apparently come with QR codes for in-game items in the app, which my kids really love. And it makes for a good "ongoing" gift idea for as long as they are into Gabby. Overall a pretty nice toy, but I do think it needs to be at a lower price point.
