Country Crock
I have bought this product in the past. I typically buy margarine instead of butter because it is cheaper. But Country Crock is not my favorite brand. It is okay, and I will buy it from time to time when I have a good coupon. But of all the margarine brands I've tried, this is one of the ones that tastes the least like butter, the MOST like vegetable oil. But it is relatively healthy, easy to use, and most things I use it for don't need a strong butter taste anyway, so I give it 3 stars (average). I made cookies with it, although I could not find the sticks in the stores, so I used the spread.
Daisy Sour Cream
I have also purchased Daisy Squeeze Sour Cream in the past. I like it... I think it is easy to use and tastes the same as regular Daisy Sour Cream. This was the first time I used it in a recipe instead of just as a topping. It was easy to use either way, although it certainly looks more UNappetizing when it is squeezed out into a pile rather than spooned in a pretty dollop like regular sour cream.
Maybelline Super Stay 24 Lip Color
This is the longest lasting lipstick I've ever tried! I usually don't have to take off lipstick at the end of the day... it wears off on its own. But this lipstick was still on when I went to bed, after applying it only once in the morning. I loved the color, and the 2-step process was easy enough. I didn't like how it seemed to take a long time to dry. Even though I blotted it with a cloth after putting it on, I still noticed lipstick marks on my coffee mug and napkins for quite a while. It still stayed on my lips, as well, but DID seem to transfer to other surfaces. Overall, a great, long-lasting lip color.
Simple Skincare Wipes
I really liked these wipes. Instead of using eye makeup remover and cotton pads and then soap and water for the rest of my face, I used just one wipe to take off all my make-up. Felt clean afterwards, not sticky. They are too pricey for me to buy very often, but I would purchase these again if I had a good coupon.
Pilot Frixion Clicker Pens
These were really cool. I have never used an erasable pen before. The gel ink reminded me of my teenage and college days, when gel pens were really cool. I don't know what I will really use these for, since I am not an artist or a doodler, but I'm sure there will be times when it is fun to use red or blue ink.
Ebates
I had heard of ebates before, but never tried it. I'm not sure what I really received from Influenster in this regard, since I think I could've gotten a $10 bonus if I signed up through my friends' referral links, too. But I was willing to try out the site. I don't think I will shop here too much, because it is easier to use the Swagbucks shopping button, and there are so many other similar cashback websites that I would probably use first (Speedy Mall, AAA dollars, Top Cashback, etc.) But it was nice to get a portion of my purchase back when I bought this Christmas present for my kids at Toys R Us.
